Welcome

We build community and support people in vulnerable life moments using art and creativity.

We run creative workshops, make artwork with communities, learn about communities through creative research and evaluation, and provide sewing supplies for social good.

If Trees Could Talk Devon International Art Biennale

Between May and July 2026, workshops, events, and exhibitions form the Devon Satellite programme of the International Art Biennale, “If Trees Could Talk.” Significant Seams is the coordinating partner for the SW county of Devon, England. Four permanent art installations, all co-created with local communities, anchor our programme. Our events, along with those enabled by wider Devon creative communities, will bring the theme to life!

The Festival will launch with two exhibitions and activities at Devon County Show, 21 May – 23 May at Westpoint Arena. We will be in the Innovation Tent, found along Avenue C, near the Sheep Judging Ring. You can get find out all about the Festival events FIVE ways:

You also can ADD events to the digital programme! Inspired by the theme? Putting something on that fits in? List it and help the seed fund for a future festival!
